Social Action

Feeding the hungry (“Ma’akhil R’evim”) is a central mission of our social action program. Whether working at the Food Bank for Westchester on community Mitzvah Days, volunteering at local food pantries or collecting cereal or other needed foods for local food pantries, our congregation is committed to helping people in need throughout Westchester.

We also reach out to people in need in Westchester and the world around us through clothing drives and other volunteer activities.

Our active Social Action Team encourages congregants to come to us with ideas for how we can help repair the world – one small step at a time.
