Shabbat services are held every Saturday morning at 9:30am.

Music is always an integral part of these services and helps to lift the soul and the spirit. To prepare the mind for praying and learning, the rabbi leads the congregation in a brief meditative chant. A portion of the Shabbat morning service is devoted to interactive Torah study, rather than a sermon.

Please join us for Kiddush following services.

Kabbalat Shabbat services are held several Friday evenings during the year at 6:30pm. (See Kabbalat Shabbat for schedule.) At these services Rabbi Alfredo can be seen playing the African djembe (the name djembe comes from the saying “Anke djé, anke bé” which translates to “everyone gather together in peace”) with the band, following which members of the congregation and members of the community join together in Shabbat dinner and song.
